PRE-ORDER:  This toolhead will be released middle of MAY.  Stock on the Orbiter extruders is low at the moment due to supply chain issues, so we will build up based on pre-orders.  Get them in quickly!!

Do you want a lightweight toolhead that helps reduce ringing, and causes less wear and tear on your printer?  This toolhead comes in at just around 320 grams!

With an Orbiter 2.0 Extruder and a Slice Engineering Mosquito hotend, this toolhead has everything you need to produce quality prints.  The lightweight design help with ringing/ghosting on prints, and can help increase movement speeds slightly without causing print issues.

Description

These toolheads are compatible with All E3D V6 nozzles, Slice Engineering Nozzles, Bondtech CHT nozzles, Etc.  Heaters, and thermistors from E3D are also standard in these toolheads from IT-Works 3D.

We offer this in 2 configurations a Standard Orbiter FW, and the Orbiter H FW

Standard Toolhead includes:

  • LDO Orbiter 2.0 Extruder
  • Slice Engineering Mosquito hotend
  • E3D Brass .4mm nozzle
  • E3D 40W Heater
  • E3D Thermistor
  • 360-degree cooling duct ABS
  • 40x10mm heat sink cooling fan
  • LED for easy viewing

 

Orbiter H includes:

  • LDO Orbiter 2.0 Extruder
  • Slice Engineering Mosquito Magnum hotend
  • E3D Hardened nozzle .5mm
  • E3D 40W Heater
  • E3D Thermistor
  • 360-degree cooling duct Polycarbonate
  • 40x10mm heat sink cooling fan
  • LED for easy viewing

If you want a higher watt heater like the Slice 50w or other nozzles, please add these items to the cart, and specify in the checkout notes what you want installed.

You will need to adjust your extruder stepper current to 850mA and esteps to 690.  If you use the latest firmware from LulzBot this should be adjustable via the LCD screen.
