Description

Save on this LulzBot TAZ 5
This used TAZ 5 has undergone a multi point inspection and multiple test prints in multiple materials to ensure proper performance for you.

INDUSTRIAL-GRADE 3D PRINTING, ON YOUR DESKTOP.
The LulzBot TAZ 5 is a versatile, high performance desktop 3D printer for industrial users that respects your freedom to create. The LulzBot TAZ is critically acclaimed, from being named “Most Maker Machine” by Make magazine to “Best Printer Under $3,000” by 3D Forged.

Two new upgrades to TAZ 5 include the LulzBot Hexagon all metal hot end and the PEI print surface. With the all metal hot end, you can take advantage of the cutting edge market for new materials, from HIPS, PLA, and ABS, to wood-, metal-, and stone-like! The PEI print surface allows easy, low maintenance 3D printing so you don’t have to worry about using tape, adhesives, or solvents to help objects stick to the print bed.

LARGE PRINT VOLUME.
Looking for a desktop 3D printer that can print large items? Like the generations before it, the TAZ 5 boasts a spacious 298mm x 275mm x 250mm (11.7in x 10.8in x 9.8in) print area with a controllable heat bed that can print large items, or many small items.

DON’T FORGET TO BUY FILAMENT, THE CHOICE IS YOURS!
The LulzBot TAZ does not ship with filament, so make sure to order some with your purchase. We recommend HIPS! Other advanced materials include heavy duty options like nylon, T-Glase, and polycarbonate, or aesthetic varieties of wood- and stone-like materials. Consider upgrading to a Flexystruder to try flexible filaments like NinjaFlex and SemiFlex. With so many options available, the choice is yours!

OPTIONAL DUAL EXTRUDER UPGRADE.
With the LulzBot TAZ 5, you are just an upgrade away from using a dual extruder to print two different colors, or two different materials! Separate purchase of a Dual Extruder or FlexyDually Tool Head is required. These are advanced tool heads recommended for experienced users.

ALL METAL, ALL GOOD.
The LulzBot Hexagon all metal hot end heats up to 300°C (572°F) and the bed heats up to 120°C (248°F). For optimal performance, we suggest printing with LulzBot-supported filament available for purchase on LulzBot.com. And with its open filament system your LulzBot TAZ has nearly unlimited potential for new materials.

TETHERLESS PRINTING COMES STANDARD.
Your LulzBot TAZ 5 features tetherless printing through an SD card with a multi-functional graphic LCD controller.

RESPECTING YOUR FREEDOM.
A LulzBot 3D printer was the first hardware product, and remains the only 3D printer brand, to receive the Free Software Foundation’s Respect Your Freedom certification and meet the Open Source Hardware definition.

Shipped in factory LulzBot TAZ packaging if possible for safe transport. The packaging may look a little rough.. because it’s recycled!

Some TAZ 5’s may have been upgraded from older units to become a TAZ 5, but in no way will this affect any operation.  We just used TAZ 5 parts in order to bring them up to spec.

The Open Rail Mod is a design upgrade the utilizes Extrusions for the Axis’s of the printer.  It eliminates the smooth rods and utilizes V-slow wheel configurations.  Search TAZ open rail mods on Thingiverse to see what this design entails.
